Anybody else following UTMB today? It’s my favorite race.
Although no Killian or Walmsley.
I think Zach Miller has the best chance of the Americans to make the podium. I love Zach running style. Dude just runs as hard as he can for as long as he can, which is kinda dangerous as he is prone to blow up (see UTMB last year) but when it works he can run with the best.

Have my last race (10K) of the summer tomorrow.
I'm going to make an effort to push myself out of comfort zone and start teaching myself to race when it gets physically & mentally uncomfortable.
Less worrying about pace alerts and more focus on feel.

Watched a good bit of it Fri night. I love that you can watch the whole thing live pretty much. The scenery is top notch. Those little Swiss Alps towns are so damn neat; postcard esque. How’d the 5K go?
@ rsande - good job on the 10K dude. Nothing to be ashamed about with those splits. You’ll be rolling in the Fall.
@ hb - how’d it go this am? Strava must be glitchy because I only see 12 miles? Lol
Got in a Half this am to cap a 46 mile week. Only had 12 in the plan but took a CD mile and went another .1. Plan called for 2 WU, 10 @ 7:15-7:32. Ended up at 1:43 for the Half.
