Didn’t hit 40:00, which was my “lofty” goal. This one hurt, not sure I had anymore in me today. Couldn’t get my legs to turn over. Kinda bummed, but oh well.

No shame there. It's been a tough couple of weeks to train in with the heat/wind, rain. Good result and you're so close. You have to be hungry after being right there, maybe find a 10k a month out and give it another go? Then go into the summer training with the knowledge fall racing season is going to be your bitch. Good job!

Just in the watch looking arena, Garmin Instinct and vivoactive 3 seem to be popular choices.
I’ve heard about Coros and know a few people that are big fans but I haven’t ever really tried them.
