I remember having to do this A LOT in the 70s and 80s-- Mercury Cougar, T-Bird, Dodge Mirada, Olds Toronado, Toyota Celica, Ford Elite.

Coupes have about gone the way of the dinosaur. About the only two door cars today with actual back seats of any consequence are sportier muscle cars (Mustang, Challenger, Camaro)
