Instead of admitting that you're wrong you try to use some sob story to not only conjure sympathy, but to garner some level of justification in your hate for the President.
I say this as someone who loathes the mostly circle jerkiness of this board sometimes. At some point people need to just be able to say "I'm wrong", including Trump supporters. But don't you dare hold yourself as morally superior, because you're much much worse.
Instead of admitting that you're wrong you try to use some sob story to not only conjure sympathy, but to garner some level of justification in your hate for the President.

My grandfather was a WWII navy veteran. He despised Obama but respected the office of the Commander in Chief.
It was an honor to receive the flag from the Navy Reserve officer at his funeral.
