Whole bunch of people on the RB are about to "change their opinions" on some players.

Starks dropped 62 spots how the hell does that make sense?

That was a major head scratcher for me too. What the hell did he do to drop that far?

Dang Sopsher is slipping. Hope we get him.

Kardell dropped because they made him pass protect at OT against top DEs in the country, without pads. Still the #1 OG in the nation.
Yep and I'm not too upset about it because I imagine Kardell is the kind of guy that will take it personally and take it out on the poor soul lined up across from him.
Go ahead and make Kardell mad and see where that gets you.

The 247 mods are trying to take up for their Bossman right now BARTON.....Kardell has “bad weight” ........Kardell “isn’t a first round pick cause he’s a guard” ect ect ect

Yeah, because who needs a Larry Allen type player right? Not saying he is, but he could develop into someone in the mold of Allen.

Kardell's family didn't pay 247 I guess.

Barton says/does the same dumb shite every year. He just stirs the pot and says stuff that he knows will piss off certain fan bases. It gets them worked up and more clicks. Barton’s bullshite and Sonny and Shea’s attempt to defend him is the main reason I dropped my 247 sub. It got old and to predictable.
Look at the film and his offers then you can see that a Thomas is a dominant player. He will be the most dominant olinemen we’ve had since La’elle Collins.

Billy’s explaination was fair. They are sometimes inconsistent on how they rank. They go back and forth between ranking on pro potential and scheme fit, but like he said, Thomas is still the #1 OG in the country and ranked in a spot that’s predicting him to be a second round pick. That’s fair imo. Cain isn’t, I know his stock has fallen but I don’t think there are 240 players better than him.

Cain isn’t special. I get his ranking.
Kardell is laughable.

No one worry about KT's ranking. If you have followed recruiting even the slightest bit you know by now sometimes recruit ranking does become political. In this case all his drop in ranking does is affect our total class rank, but that truly doesn't matter.
You don't need to look at a rank to know what type of beast KT is, just look at his film and how he has DOMINATED his opponents at all the camps he has been too. That kid will be a difference maker on our OL, he will start his freshman year and be a 3 year starter for us, which it was four years but that 4th year he will be playing on Sunday's!

Appears as though they still forgot about Marcus Banks. From what I read about The Opening on 247, he more than held his own.

Damn.. didn’t realize Emery was that highly ranked.

Bill was 0lenty fast on the field in pads.

Kardell dropped in more than a few people's minds after his performance at The Opening. He was getting beat more often than not in the 1 on 1 drills and was not anywhere near the type of guy he's been this entire cycle thus far.

Looking at the 247 rankings through a lens of how they think players will be drafted in the NFL one day doesn’t make much sense to me, but if that’s their criteria then the rankings do make a little more sense.
Pass rushers, corners, QB, LT, etc will then be valued differently than Lbers, OG, etc.
Personally that’s what NFL scouts should be doing not college ones but so be it.
People just have to keep this in mind when considering where a particular player is ranked. Putting more emphasis as a fan on how kids are ranked at their particular position (e.g. #1 CB or # 2 RB) is a more useful metric to me.

Based on the totality of the reports, he was better than any other OL there. So, I guess the elite OLs (that's supposedly who were at the opening final) all got worse and the sub elites got better? Ridiculous.
