This is the worst 'game' in all of sports although the pro bowl is close. Why don't they just have a mid season break where the players get a few days off? Seems they could play on July 4th, have fireworks and all that, then get the 5th through the 10th off, and start the second half of the season.

Seriously?

I mean it has to have the most prestige out of all the 4 major league all star games. Also the game is still very much a game of baseball unlike the probowl and not a pick up lob fest like the NBA

Huh? It’s about the only honorary game that has some semblance of competition. The Pro Bowl and NBA All Star Game are jokes. Most players actually play hard in the MLB All Star Game.
