I only see what's on tRant, The Advocate and AFR when I get a chance to listen.

Fisher's 8 years at FSU:
83-23 overall
48-16 in ACC
4 appearances in ACC championship game
3 ACC championships
1 national championship
Now yes, the way he finished at FSU was disappointing, but there's no denying the huge success he had at FSU.
What team was FSU's biggest competition in his early years in the ACC? Clemson - nope, Miami - nope, Virginia Tech maybe?
In Jimbo's heyday the ACC was comparable to the SEC East minus Florida and Georgia.

So, a lot like LSU's schedule last year.

Now the whiners are professing their love of the Texas A&M coach who went 14-10 in his most recent 3 years in the ACC. Ha Ha ha Ha !!!
You confuse "love" with simple observation.
Also you're not a big fan of the entire picture, just the one that helps you to prove whatever point you're trying to make.
I enjoy it though. Every day you back yourself into the corner more and more. Now Orgeron has to turn LSU into an unqualified success in the SEC this year because there are zero excuses.
Last year you were conspicuously absent for 3 weeks when O was busy trying to wreck the program. I wonder if you'll tuck tail and run away again if it happens this year.

Since you brought up those facts about Fisher and his earlier resumè
Can we compare Fisher’s history to Orgeron since you prefer O over Fisher, without you getting all defensive?
I mean your job is to convince me we’re in good hands, right?
Do your job. I’m open ears.

I would agree with Ree that SEC is tougher than ACC. But, it does not matter. Wins and losses, baby!!!
Fisher in ACC is past. O’s record at OM is past. Let’s see how each fares in SEC, starting this year. As of now Fisher has to get the nod as a better coach.

I guess if you consider Alabama, Auburn, and notredame equal to vandy and ky and tenn

Totally agreed, they both have a chance now on the field.

So are you saying records built by beating shitty teams mean nothing?
That can’t be true because you also told me 9-4 was a good season and I should be Proud O went 6-2 in the SEC even if 5 of those 6 teams fired their HC.

I’ll decide when I waste my time, but thanks Roger, for your concern.
And no reason to deflect my questions. I’m asking them to have a healthy discussion.

Sammy so you are saying that Alabama was bad because they beat all those teams? Hell lsu was their best regular season win. They couldn't even beat Auburn. How in the hell they made the playoff with that resume is sickening. 7-1 yeah, but they didn't beat a good team.

Clemson - nope
In Jimbo's ACC championship seasons, Clemson finished 11-2, 11-2, and 10-3. That includes a Peach Bowl win over LSU and an Orange Bowl win over Ohio State.
In their national championship season, FSU were underdogs at #3 Clemson.
Not competition?

Why would he need to convince you of anything? Are you special or something? Seriously, not attacking you, but that's crazy.

In Jimbo's heyday the ACC was comparable to the SEC East minus Florida and Georgia.
In 2010 (Jimbo's first year at FSU), FSU's strength of schedule was 12th in the nation. He went 10-4.
In 2017 (Orgeron's first year at LSU), LSU's strength of schedule was 27. He went 9-4.
In Jimbo's NC season, FSU went undefeated and played the #13 strength of schedule.
There were definitely some down years in the ACC, but Jimbo has shown that he can do it against a tougher schedule as well.
