Yes.
A male may choose to be feminine, and a female may choose to be masculine.
Quick question.
When a 90 pound woman sees a 150 pound fat woman staring back at her in the mirror.... Do you consider that OK? Do we label that as something? Does society consider this extremely dangerous?
NOW.....
When that 90 pound woman sees a 150 pound MAN staring back at her in the mirror....... this is OK?? This is BRAVE?? This is socially acceptable?
Another quick question. Are you aware that transgenders commit suicides at a FAR HIGHER PERCENT than any other grouping of huamns? After surgery is over 40% suicide.... Are you ok with this? Do you think this is just a random coincidence?

Whoever down voted me is a fricking moron.
If you have a fricking dick...you go to the mens room and vice versa.
He pronoun = has a dick
She pronoun = has a pussy
Gender is how you act. You can act like a damn pig...then 'identify' as a damn pig for all I care. Or act like a pussy and be a feminine bitch.
It is fricking SCIENCE! GET OVER IT YOU frickING FREAKS!!!

Well, "He" is the masculine, third person, subjective, personal pronoun. In other languages, nouns have a gender, but not a sex: La fenetre, for example. The window is feminine, without being a female.
Personally, if someone looks masculine and I use a masculine pronoun, and she gets all bent out of shape over it, that's not my problem. I don't really care. If they're not pulling it off successfully enough to fool me, that's on them.

Because I don't want any penises in the bathroom when my daughter has to use it.

I don't consider it at all. It's none of my business what she sees when she looks in the mirror. That said, I think the problem comes in when someone looks in the mirror and sees anything but themselves. When I look in the mirror, I don't think about seeing a man or a woman, I just see me. Lately I've been seeing an old me.

Personally, I don't believe in elective surgery. I think genital mutilation is sad.
Otherwise, it's just none of my business. If I offend someone by using the wrong pronoun and they correct me, I may use the pronoun of their choice.

Again, WHY are you more comfortable with a vagina whose owner IS sexually-attracted to your daughter than with a penis whose owner has ZERO interest in your daughter? Are penises inherently dangerous in some way, independent of the mind operating them? We do not accept that silly argument for firearms. Why for genitalia?

Right, and this where it gets difficult for those on the left, the masculine pronouns are used to describe the male sex. There really is no arguing that. As I pointed out, masculine isn't a state, its a description. So when someone is asking to have masculine pronouns, they, essentially, as asking to be described in the manner of the male sex. This, again, is why the whole "gender and sex are two different things" is anti-intellectual.

True, but that is the product of romance languages. If we start going down the Etymology path, we'll be here forever.

If you're a male, I'm calling you a male and identifying you as such with the proper pronouns. Your reaction is your problem.

First, let's dismiss the idea that same-sex attraction means a higher propensity for pedophilia. To my knowledge, and I could be wrong, no study has every found that.
As a guy, I really don't care if females are in the bathroom but I completely get that it's different for females. There is a distinct difference between men and women physically and women, it seems, feel more vulnerable in a bathroom (which I get.) I have no problem telling some guy that thinks he's a woman that he can wait until my wife and daughter finish. I'm not sacrificing their comfort for his mental abnormality especially when he's asking me to deny reality in the process.

There's your "why"
You put a young girl in a room with a perv, alone, with a real expectation that nobody will bother them. . .
Heck, what could possibly go wrong?

Let's once again use a very real world scenario which has happened in the last few years:
Rachel Dolezal identified as black, dressed in black fashion, styled her hair like black women, and was so successful at identifying and pretending to be black that she managed to become the head of the Spokane, WA, chapter of the NCAAP.
Then she was rightly exposed as a fraud.
Was she respected by any groups for her conduct? Was she accommodated?
Was she allowed to remain the head of the NAACP chapter, in spite of her very obvious love and respect for all things African American?
No.
There is absolutely zero difference between wanting to identify as a different race and wanting to identify as a different sex.
Why should anyone wanting to identify as a member of the opposite sex be treated any differently than Rachel Dolezal?

It may become your problem if she doesn't appreciate you lifting her dress to find her penis.
That's why I don't bother with the sex aspect of the pronouns, it gets too personal.
Growing up in New Orleans, I saw quite a few men who I couldn't casually identify as men. If it looks like a woman to me, I use feminine pronouns, if it looks like a man to me, I use masculine pronouns. I've been wrong before. Big deal, small problem.
