Wisconsin's record against Michigan is 15-50-1.

They might, but are probably too young to remember that they were dogshit until Alvarez took them to the '94 Rose Bowl.

Michigan is generally overrated, but Wisconsin doesn't compare as a program.

Yeah I know, a lot of SEC schedules are a joke and they play only two or three good teams a year mixed in with the Citadel and Chattanooga and Tennessee Valley State rent a win.

Like Kentucky, Vandy, Tennessee, Arkie, etc. Are so much better than Purdue...etc.

Wisconsin is 5-5 versus Michigan in the last ten games. Not exactly dominating.

You can certainly make a case for Wisconsin being better recently, but even then, they've mostly been another program like the OP is talking about.

They pile up wins, lose 2 or 3 and make a nice bowl. And everybody's happy. There's nothing wrong with that either, but it's not like they are clearly above Michigan.

No kid under 16 has really seen a season where Michigan football finished better than Wisconsin except maybe a season or two

Yeah it tells us that Wisconsin is an extremely crappy football program from the time they started playing football until now. If 5-5 is worth bragging about for Wisconsin over Michigan the last ten years then that should tell you how crappy their program is.

Has Wisconsin ever made the playoffs in the playoff era? They've never been close. Heck Michigan State has been a much more relevant program than Wisconsin in the playoff era.

In communist Russia, no one is better than anyone else and all games end in tie.

Michigan has great schedule because all other teams have great schedule too.

All teams are winners in communism.

To be fair, they were really close just last year. Much closer than LSU has ever been.

When thinking of great teams, no kid under 16 (outside the state of Wisconsin) even registers Wisconsin.

At the end of the day, Wisconsin is a "fine" team. They are big, disciplined, white, and slow. Not that is necessarily a bad thing. But, Wisconsin is at the pinnacle of what they are.

(And I like watching/rooting for Wisconsin fwiw...)

Meh. I know you said playoff era, but, "they've never been close"? Did you just all of a sudden forget about last year? Other than that:

-Wisconsin embarrassingly lost to little ole TCU in the Rose Bowl in 2010.
-Wisconsin lost 45-38 to Oregon in the Rose Bowl in 2011.
-Wisconsin beat a pretty average Auburn in the Outback Bowl in 2014.
-Wisconsin beat an average USC in the Holiday bowl in 2015.
-Wisconsin beat Western Michigan in the Cotton Bowl in 2016.
-Wisconsin went 13-1 and beat a good Miami team in the Orange Bowl last year.

Umm, that TCU team was a split-second away from playing Alabama for the national championship. As a Mountain West team.

And that Rose Bowl ended at the goal line.

Love you Ralph. Please provide a stat that shows Michigan is even close to Wisconsin the last 10 years.

Also, my girlfriend went to Michigan and she doesn't think Harbaugh is on the hot seat. It's unreal how he gets a pass to lose to msu and osu every year for what they're paying him. I'm not a Michigan fan and i think they should expect more.

Today's recruits were born in 2001. Wisconsin has been a superior program to Michigan since then. Yes, Michigan is living on their old arse history, but recruits today haven't been alive when Michigan has been better, save one or two seasons.

Just want to go on record that this is patently false. Last year we were one drive away, the Russell Wilson year one win away, etc
