It was mentioned yesterday that Dr. Richard Harris, aka Superman, made his way to the kids and assessed everyone and sent the weakest out first. Go read up on him if you haven’t already.

Going to be a helluva a story later on when these kids are playing for the Thai team in world cup.

just curious how the decided on the order of extraction.
Dr did health assessments on all the kids.
Yesterday they took the stronger kids to work out the logistics and boost morale for the less strong kids.
Today they were going to start with the weaker kids.
At lest that is the latest story I’ve heard. It will probably change again. (Last night the story was the opposite)

i guess i'm looking at it from a parent's side. Can't imagine being the parents of the very last one to get rescued.

Quick google search did not come up with anything. Link to Doc’s info?

This is from yesterday.

It has been reported that doctors assessed the boys inside the cave on Saturday and drew up an priority evacuation list with the weakest to be brought out first, and the strongest to be rescued last.

Australian doctor inside the cave decided to bring out the weakest kids first as cave conditions have been the best in days.

My apologies, his name is Dr. Richard Harris. He’s an anesthetist and worldnclass diver.

Sounds like rescue mission is on pause now. Maybe done for the day.

Today they are saying they brought out strongest first. They being Fox News.

It’s dark there now. But it’s dark in the cave regardless.

I thought the same. Would be interested to know if it's the same divers making the trek and going with the kids? 11 hours round trip is a good amount of energy. But I'd also be surprised if they were sending people who hadn't made the entire journey to where the kids are.

It wasn’t reported yesterday that the same divers did go in.
I’m curious how long they wait once they get to the kids to begin diving again. You would have to think they don’t want to wait too long because that would deplete oxygen levels quickly.

frick man this is insanity. I hope those divers don't drown on account of their massive balls pulling them under.

The way I understand it, divers are working in particular areas and they kind of relay the kids to one another.

Same. And if they stop for today I'd assume that it's for reasons of replacing supplies.
And per Amanda Hodge on twitter who is there 8 have been rescued all total.

That would mean the next trip will be everyone? Would suck if they left the coach in there alone one extra night.

Yeah it would but Idk --- just sharing info. An hour ago she posted that it wasn't known "if anymore would come tonight".

Barring any rain, you’d think they’d continue the rescues throughout the night. It’s not like any daylight is going into the caves anyway as they are using helmet lights and such.
Shortage of qualified divers or to let the original rescuers rest up?

From what ive read, operations are shut down until Tuesday when they plan to save all 5 remaining.
Posted on 7/9/18 at 8:17 am to idlewatcher
They may use this time to recharge tanks and continue to pump out more water. That’s purely speculation. I believe I read that without pumping water it’s around a 5 hour trip to the boys. With pumping water it’s around 2.5 hours.
