A slower play might have worked better, but the issue was starting to get traction. They had to play the hand when it was dealt. This would have been great to have happen in late September.
Honestly, these tv ads are writing themselves in the fall. And the beauty about this is dems win no matter what. Rs cave, then they get pummeled from the right. Rs don't cave, then they get labeled as psychopaths.

The dims are blowing their load on this one, and I hope the EO happens very soon. They'll be left with absolutely nothing but whatever they make up next.

The timing has more to do with other things happening, namely the release of the IG Report.
