The tone and languages used in the days after the putt by talking heads, people would’ve thought that Phil had raped their mothers, wives, and children on national TV.

Offended is a correct term for some in this situation. You can argue terminology all day, but in the end, people have a lot of sand in their collective vaginas about it.

Honestly, there is a good chance Phil truly is embarrassed now and wish he didnt do it......


It was bush league, and now that he is settled down he realizes it

Unreal how pissy everyone is about the move. Even the commentator/interviewer after the incident was railing him pretty hard. The whole time I was hoping Phil would come unglued on the dude but he held composure like a pro and gentleman he is.

I would have done the same thing in his position. He knew the rule, and new the penalty. If the penalty isn't enough, they should change the penalty.
