What will be interesting is if this much maligned coach does start winning hardware and bringing it home to LSU; rebuilds the wall around LA talent; continues to plunder talent from TX, GA, AL, FL, and MS; brings in that big JUCO talent and also the big transfers like Burrow.
What's the timetable on this? Last time I checked we were in year two, with OC number 2, counting on a QB without a single day of practice with the OC and with no returning starting skill players.
He went 9-4 against the easiest schedule in memory. He now faces the strongest schedule an LSU team has faced since at least 2011 if not earlier, with all of the handicaps listed above.
Again, what's the timetable? From where I stand there is no upward trajectory. We needed stability at OC last year to help build a strong system for this year. He knew that when he hired Canada.

Good point. Poor planning. Having continuity in the OC would have seemed to be a priority when you have two true freshman QBs that were highly recruited. I'm talking about when he hired Canada.
These are the kinds of things I mean when I say I hope he learns from his mistakes.
