Super Regional Teams

We're seeing more teams with so-so records suddenly turn it on in the postseason.
Texas Auburn Vanderbilt South Carolina Mississippi State? We seen it recently with LSU.
Is it the type of coaching. The bring em' down build em up philosophy.
Bertman coached teams to peak at the right time but for the most part they were consistent.
How do you coach to be clutch, but at the right time.
Last year we suddenly were hitting Home runs. At TD Ameritrade. Against Oregon State.

It's parity. The days of having 8-10 teams who stood head and shoulders above everyone else are over. It's not a coaching secret. It's just getting hot at the right time. There are teams that all year long showed themselves to be among the nations best teams and yet they played poorly a couple games and are done. On any given day...

It’s not an adequate sample size to determine the best baseball teams

A lot of it too is just luck of the draw. Sometimes teams get a relatively "easier" draw than others. the fsu regional was pretty weak, for example

When the wind was blowing out. When the wind changed against Florida, the HR's stopped.

South Carolina, Texas, and State were pretty red hot going into the post season. All had favorable draws as well. A lot of time being clutch simply is confidence from playing well lately and talent. Talent useually comes up clutch.

LSU could have been sent to a different Regional and MAYBE had a better shot. But, without TWO starters, we most likely were NOT gonna win any regional.

I don't disagree. I was speaking generally. I'd definitely take my chances in say Tallahassee vs going to the number 3 national seed. If we'd had a healthy Hilliard we definitely could have won some other regionals, but no with just one healthy starter it was a stacked deck regardless. Now, soon we will see who is legit and who got through bc of draw.
