I offered the OP without comment, but I will add something here.

I live in Madison. For those who don't know, this is the rare wealthy/upper middle class area of Mississippi. If this would have been a black guy, we'd already be on the national news. The same sheriff's department is being sued for setting up road blocks that some people have said are set to catch blacks only.

It seems that the guy just don't comply, but if the deputy did not have his lights on or identify himself as the wife says, that's a problem.

I don't like that my local sheriff's department is not responding. Hopefully the full story will come out in the next couple of days.

I don't know if the story in the OP is absolutely true because of course, it's only from one point of view.

But I will say this. One of the fricking dumbest things I've repeatedly seen and heard people/cops say is shite like, "if he would have just listened" or "if he would have stopped moving"..........Now, yes. I agree with that theory.............but they often say it about someone who has been or is being tazed.

Have any of the people who say this ever been tased? You don't just "stop moving" while you're being tased or even immediately after.

The other absurd one is saying a person who is getting the shite kicked out of them wouldn't "stop moving".

I mean. Ya know. If you just took a boot to the head......freezing isn't exactly the natural response.

But they fricking shoot people over it and then call it justified!

WTF

Even if the guy didn't comply he didn't deserve to be shot and killed.

I've said in many of these cases lethal force is allowed way to leniently. The guy rolling over after being tazed is not justification for shooting him
