Will we ever see another 1996-2009 Yankees dynasty again?

7 American League pennants
5 World Series championships

Joe Torre/Joe Girardi/Derek Jeter/Mariano Rivera era

Is there any other teams other than the Terry Francona/John Farrell/David Ortiz (Red Sox) and Bruce Bochy/Buster Posey/Madison Bumgarner (Giants) that can pull off this feat?

The Yankees dynasty ended the night Luis Gonzalez had the walk-off hit against them in the 2001 World Series. And I won't be surprised if a run like that happens again very soon. The talent disparity in baseball between the elite teams and the bad teams is the worst I've seen in quite a while.

Sure.

Yankees radio rights are more than all but a few media markets total tv and radio income.

He named three baseball teams. He then specifically said he's talking about baseball. I know how hard it must be to keep up.

So just choosing that comparable amount of years, how about will we ever see another:

1947-1961 Yankees?

9 WS Titles and 12 AL Pennants

So salty.
The answer to baseball specifically is yes, something like it will happen again. Predicting who and when that will be is like trying to catch smoke. Every time it appears a team is set for a run (Angels, Cards, Cubs, etc) they are overtaken or fall apart. The best example in recent years of what he’s asking was the Giants. That’s been a few years now though.
Someone is gonna have to win back to back or two outta three before we can really begin to predict prolonged success.

Hence why it’s easier to compare to other sports currently where those teams exist now (Dubs, Bama, Pens, Pats).

I wouldn’t consider the 2009 title part of the dynasty. A gap of nine years, different manager, and different key players puts that one in a different spot for me.

Looking at the young core of Houston, it’s not hard to fathom them winning again this year. Or the Cubs.

I think we will see another dynasty like that Yankees one.

How many WS did the Yankees win 2001-2009?

I think you mean 1996-2000, cuz they really haven’t done shite since then, aside from 2009.

True.

The Yankees' nine-year championship drought started in 2000 to 2009.

However, they won multiple division championships--but not the ultimate goal--the World Series championship.
