LSU v. Alabama Football, Looking back

LSU had never beaten Alabama more than 2 times in a row prior to the '03-'07 seasons. The 2000-2011 season stretch was by far the most success LSU has ever had against the Tide.
A look back before the start of the current misery:

The 09 loss was bad. If I recall correctly, Ridley came in for an injured Charles Scott and Patrick Peterson made that interception that was ruled out of bounds. That was rough. 2008 was bad because LSU blocks the field goal to send to OT, but still came up short in Tiger Stadium.

Alabama succeeds in blowout wins where as LSU does not. especially 2011.

Probation years. We lost...A LOT. once we got past that ncaa bullshite, we were gonna be formidable again. We knew we had to wait until the latter part of the decade. That was tough to know every week u were probably gonna lose but as they say....they don't put u on probation to HELP you.
