There is no better seafood than Louisiana. I currently live in California after having lived in Louisiana and Houston the past 30 years, and I spent plenty of time in Florida growing up since my grandparents retired there. California seafood is just totally different, and while fresh and varied, is less flavorful. And, they don't know how to season anything out here. Florida is close, so I wouldn't quibble too much, but again, I think chefs in Louisiana have a much better sense of how to prepare seafood then anywhere else.
Just my 2 cents.

Here's the deal with Burrow. I just see that he has that extra gear and can take his competitive play to another level if he needs to. I think you're right by saying LSU will be very difficult to beat if he can learn the offense and what his players strengths are.
Get to know his teammates and coaches in a short period of time and we can take this to another level. They have to trust him to play all out for him but I think he will demand that type of play from them or I'm hoping that he will.
The more I read of Curry the more I like him as a running back also. I think Curry and Clyde will make a great combo so we will have a running game to complement this passing game.
Burrows ability to see the field and throw guys open is something we just haven't had recently. Even Etling waiting entirely too long to throw the football sometimes and maybe that had more to do with the WRs and not him. Burrow sticks that ball in their face when they turn the ball is in there chest or near their catching radius so our WRs will have to be ready at all times. I think that's been our WRs gripe the past few years also is that we haven't had the QB to make them all play 100% all the time. They will have to in this offense and I hope Sullivan changes that attitude they had last year. Here's to hoping for the best! Go Tigers!!

LSU first-year safeties coach Bill Busch served as the lead recruiter on Burrow. Busch served on Urban Meyer’s support staff at Ohio State in 2015, Burrow’s freshman season.
Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but good pickup in Busch.

I thought this thread would be about recruiting tactics and considerations that led to signing a potentially great quarterback. Foolish me.

Busch was a good pickup regardless of Joe Burrow.
"I think technique wise Bill is a good teacher. I think his meeting rooms are very animated, very active. There’s going to be a lot of questions, guys are going to be required to know answers and they’re going to be quizzed on a bunch of stuff. Will be good to shake that up.
Recruiting wise, the schools I was at with Bill – Utah State and Wisconsin – he was our best recruiter on staff, at both of those schools. There’s not a lot of guys that can do all three of those things well. It’s good to have him."

I just don't understand why you would take a recruit to a chain restaurant.
Very few people care about this stuff, particularly recruits.

Yep. I am from Ohio. Been here many years. It took a long time to “warm up” to Cajun creole food. It is very good once you get used to it. However steak and potatoes is still very good.
