I will not personally be using this service, nor will it change or disturb our current tailgate. I don’t think it will go over as well for LSU fans as possibly it does with other schools and their fan base.

But, some of these decisions are solely based on how disrespectful our fans are. Go look at campus after a Saturday night game and look at how much garbage is left. This is probably being explored as an extra revenue source and a way to combat the litter issue.

Our fans do leave a fricking trash pile. It’s embarrassing.

But just hire LSU/Louisiana people to do this set up.

I agree that the trash, especially around student tailgates and the Greek ones especially is abhorable.

But you could also set out more trash cans. One trash can for a tailgate of a group that has upwards of 75 members, now add in dates, friends, and families, is borderline conspiratorial that you want them to trash the place.

With that said, people need to bring their own freaking trash bags and quit being giant douche bags and just littering at will

I don't disagree that some of our fans are slobs and a few are just plain trashy--no pun intended. But a lot of the problem is caused by scrap-metal-scrounging hobos who upend everything looking for something they can cash in.

Regardless, do you think people will be more or less attentive to tailgates when they are paying for them. I think that more--and certainly not most or all--will be more inclined to say F-It. Let the bellhop get it.
