Will be in Santa Rosa Beach next week. What's the best course around there? Ive never played Santa Rosa Beach CC. I've played the Raven about 10 years ago and can't remember much about it.

People are going to tell you Burnt Pine. I’ve never played it though.

Kelley Plantation
Emerald Bay
Regatta Bay

Indian Bayou is a nice place. Older country club feel, 27 holes.

I played Raven 2 months ago. It’s not very memorable.

The best course on 30A is Camp Creek. But it’s pricey. Best bang for your buck is Windswept Dunes. Only about a 15-20 min drive from Santa Rosa. Always in great shape.

Camp Creek
Burnt Pine
Windswept Dunes
Regatta Bay
Indian Bayou
Kelly Plantation

That list should give you plenty of options, Camp Creek and Burnt Pine you’ll need a phone call to get you on, but both are worth it, Camp Creek is the gem of that area.

Indian Bayou has the best damn greens I've EVER putted on. They have to be a legit 12 on the Stimp. When I finally got on the green of the very first hole I had a 6ft putt for par and somehow ran it 8ft past.

If you have kids with you and want to bring them for a fun round, check out Origins. It’s a Davis Love III design that’s a lot of fun. There’s 6 regulation holes, but also a 10 hole Par-3 Course on the same ground. Sounds strange, but its set up nicely. Been a few years, but I brought my son, nephew and BIL, all who were beginners and we had a really good time. It was in great shape and on a pretty peice of property.

Links is a decent course. You can always get a GN deal there and Baytown. If the price is right play it and don’t look back.

I'm no different:

1) Burnt Pine
2) Kelly Plantation
3) Raven

Honorable mention goes to Links at Sandestin for the twilight rate round

It's worth their twilight rate. Too many other courses in the area to pay full price for Links
