I've been to London 8 times and not once has any a-hole brought up anything about any war between the US and UK because we're grown-ups. That said, nobody said anything to you because there was no need to, not because anyone is scared of you.
The best comparison of the differences between England and the "hillbilly south" is scones vs. biscuits (real biscuits, not hard cookies, you tard). A scone is a hard, dry, stale, tasteless piece of wasted dough because that's "the way me Mum did it." A southern biscuit is a soft, flavorful, buttery chunk of heaven because it has been continually improved from one generation to the next. That's really the story of both countries.

There have been more white, Eastern European Christians entering Britain in the last 15 years than Muslims. There are polish, Slovakian and Lithuanian shops on nearly all high streets. Not that this bothers me but why is this never brought up on this forum when you are droning on about Britain changing?

You must have me confused with someone else, but rest assured, I have zero problem discussing world history with anyone, face to face. Just think, the US and UK are allies. I used to work with Joseph Yamamoto back in the 90s and my grandfather flew in VB-6 off of the Enterprise at Midway. I once asked Joe if he was descended from Isoroku and he said he was. I told him about my grandfather and he laughed and said, "I wonder what they would think of us now."
I wasn't there and neither were you so there is no valor or shame for either of us personally.
