Is that possible?

I would say Yes and they should go home and lick their wounds but it’s Florida

The two coaches can agree to end the game.
The SEC should have stepped in and made the obvious decision to call it. But the SEC's never made a decision that benefited LSU in its history.

I can’t imagine UF ever giving up on this game.

They could but even if we were guaranteed number 1 seed would of u be ok with forfeiting?

I wouldn't think so. The other teams are hoping there is a delay and LSU has to burn more pitchers to finish the game.
If Florida could, which I seriously doubt, it would piss off other teams that are still playing if he didn't give effort to win the game.

They wouldn't just for spite. They know we have to burn a pitcher and wouldn't do anything that would help LSU.

I thought it had to go 7 innings before they can call it.

Not according to the "experts" on the Rant.
Some are probably wondering why UF didn't forfeit before the game even started.

Why would they? We scored 7 runs in this inning. Who’s to say they can’t do the same? They have to get atleast 1 run next inning to keep the game alive, then they have 3 innings to stop us and come back.

We don’t have to burn a pitcher. Only 3 outs are needed, so use one on short rest.
