Downtown Mobile to Dauphin Island is maybe 30 min

Via ferry, and that’s if you catch it exactly when you pull up.
Minimum 45 minute drive to make it to any beach in Alabama if driving

You drive slow. Used to make it to the DI marina from midtown in 30 min.

I thought you drove from Mobile to Dauphin Island.
Head to Tillmans corner then down 193.
But yea it's still about 45 min from Mobile to Dauphin Island.

My Ex FIL owns this joint you pass at 188/193. Karaoked many a terrible song there years ago when it was a bar. Now it's a makeshift hardware store I think.
