Thinking of White House Tavern, J-Bar, Meat and Cheese, Jimmy's, and Jimmy's Bodego for evening meals. Any other thoughts?

All fantastic choices. Add Poppycocks Cafe for breakfast. It looks like just a normal breakfast place, but it is phenomenal. The oatmeal pancakes are the single greatest breakfast item on the planet.

The last time I was there we used Jerry Pazar with Taylor Creek Fly Shops as a fly fishing guide. If that is something you'd be into, he was top notch. My wife had even more fun than I did with it.

White House is good. The rec for Poppycocks is right on - those pancakes are great. Also we love the Hickory House in aspen for ribs, and also Tempranillo in Basalt is worth the drive for dinner.

The bike ride from town down to Woody Creek is nice. Rent a Polaris RZR and drive up Aspen mountain for fun. Can't recommend Taylor Creek Fly shop enough. Go on a float trip on the Roaring Fork with them.

If you fish with them, leave early and hit up Breakfast in America in El Jebel for pre-fishing breakfast. Great great counter service type place.

The Snowmass rodeo going on then - always a fun time in the evening.

The Saturday morning farmers market in Aspen is a lot of fun as well.

Work your angles to try to get on The Roaring Fork Club if you like golf.

Quite a few dispensary in Aspen. Even if it's not your thing its pretty interesting to go in and check out the merchandise.
