If you truly believe that the termination of an unwanted pregnancy is murder and the heinous sin that your faith tells you it is, why are your churches and pro-life groups not doing more to promote sex education and contraception?

Access to education and modern contraception reduces abortions. On the other hand, abstinence only education and unaffordable birth control leads to more unwanted pregnancies and abortions. Period. There's no debate.

And if you're of the belief that it isn't yours or the government's responsibility to pay for such things, then I doubt you sincerely believe that abortion is the scourge of America and that babies are being slaughtered.

There are at least two logical fallacies in his post. Let's see if he can find them.

so your "gotcha" argument is churches should tell kids about the pill and condoms? who doesnt know about those?
unaffordable? whats a pack of rubbers run - a buck each? less? the pill is like $10/month at walmart on ANY insurance plan.

didnt think this one through, huh?

It's 2018. Are there still people dumb enough to not know how a baby is made? Is it really on the church to teach people how to not get pregnant when they have sex? Get the frick out of here. Abortion is murder

1. No, it's the termination of a pregnancy.

2. If, however, you believe that a fetus is a human that's capable of surviving outside of the womb, or that a woman should not have the means to terminate a pregnancy in cases of rape or incest, why are you not doing the only things proven capable of reducing the number of abortions?

There is nothing at all contradictory in being both pro-life and against subsidies for birth control.

I also love how you claim birth control is "unaffordable"..... do you live under a rock?

My Church is teaching abstinence that is 100% effective while contraception is not.

I have a better question.

When does a human life start and what is the significant event?

Bet you don’t answer!

Edit: So far you proved me right and haven’t answered. I’m going to quote this in an effort to shame you into answering.

But we both know you have no shame!

Churches don’t preach premarital sex to begin with. Also, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that condoms are cheap and birth control is affordable without the government’s aid.

But since you attempted a “gotcha” question. Let me ask you this: If you believe in climate change because “it’s science,” then why don’t you believe in just two genders?

When a pregnant woman is killed, why is the criminal charged with double murder?
