2 LSU baseball commits for St. Paul’s shut out Catholic tonight

Junior Jacob Scherer throws 7 1/3 shutout innings.
Freshman Connor Simon throws 1 2/3 shutout innings. All 5 outs were strikeouts.
St. Paul’s will now face John Cutrtis in state finals Sat.

2 LSU commits from St. Paul and 2 from Curtis. It should be a great game. And to think Connor Simon is only a Freshman.

And Connor usually doesn’t pitch......but he is very good at it. Hell of a shortstop.

Logan graduates as the class Valedictorian 4.0 gpa and wants to study BioMedical Engineering. Between the ATH and Academic scholarships he will be able to attend Tulane at a very affordable price. He put in the work and it has paid off.

That is a heck of an offer but I won’t make it as my oldest son is graduating. Down the road maybe we can meet at an LSU/Tulane game when LS is playing for the Wave.Cheers

congrats to your son as I have a 20 yr old son and current JR in high school. I'm sure we're close in age as I graduated from St. Martin's in 86. BS went to Holy Cross and later played CFB

From what I’ve been told, Connor will be the starting pitcher for St Paul today. That’s a big stage for him and only being a freshman. Hopefully they can pull out the victory because JC will be tough to beat.
