Ran across this while looking up Matt Elam's PFF scores. PFF would have selected Terron Armstead at 3 and Larry Waford at 10. Our line is STACKED!

Yeah who would have thought Ziggy Ansah would be the best player from that top 10. At the time he was considered very raw and needed to learn the game.

There were several of us really high on him. Lot of LSU fans talked a lot of shite that we liked him more than Mingo.

Funny that Frederick was probably one of the better picks of the 1st round and was widely criticized when it was made.

Even if he turns out like Ansah people are likely still going to criticize us for giving up 2 first rounders for him.

I felt the same way.. but we gave up a late first round pick next year, and swapped first rounders this year. So technically we really only gave up one first rounder.. and it’s going to be a late one. So oh well
