Here's the question: Which is worse for the cause - the recruiting or the coaching?

A little competition never hurts anyone.

I think it's great that O is pursuing this qb.

Always have a back up plan. It's that simple.

this is big-boy football. None of our QBs performed well in the Spring game, and it's probably been the same all throughout spring practice.

If they're not up to the task, we need to bring in someone who is. I don't really care how they "feel." It's competitive college football at the highest level. Produce, or sit.

After busting their humps all Spring to win the starting job our 3 QB's just learned the answer this week.

Their coaches don't believe they are good enough to be THE quarterback.

I guess. Or maybe they learned that a QB from Ohio St with 2 years of eligibility left is seeking a transfer from Ohio St.

I must have missed the part where O and Ensminger said that Burrow would be the day 1 starter if he were to transfer here.

TBH....Brennan and Narcisse are not ready...McMillan could be decent but thats an unknown as well seeing who has passed him in recent years. I believe it will do Brennan and Narcisse some good to sit another year and develop...

It was not long ago that most qbs that played were jr or srs that waited there turn

They're fricking competitors for the QB spot at a SEC school and among the top programs. If they're competitors, they'll compete.

Fake arse LSU fan.

They should feel like all three barely completed over 50% of their passes this spring. That's enough for a coach to explore all options

Competition makes people willing to compete, better.

It't their own fault. The opportunity was and is still there for them to man up and take the job.

How do you feel about it?

For the last few months the Rant has been in a meltdown because of the lack of depth at QB and CB. He signs a CB transfer and hopefully a QB and the melt continues.
I hope he comes and is good enough to play if one of the others are injured.

If he develops into a quality QB, it will be the first at LSU since Jimbo left.
Etling wasn't good enough to start when playing for Miles. Now he is in the NFL. Hope, hope, hope

If you were the HC, would you be recruiting him?

This isn't rec league ball.

Put up or gtf out of the way and let next man try.

Ask Brandon Harris Or Jalen hurts about it.

I've never in my life heard of the theory that you don't want to bring in new talent for fear of hurting the confidence of your existing players.

It's utter and complete absurdity.
