Even though he went crazy for a while, dude was still a beast in the ring in his younger days. I used to love to watch him fight. Boxing ain't what it used to be if you ask me.

No, it sure isn't. Have to quote Rocky III on this, "You was hard and you was nasty and you had this cast-iron jaw but then the worst thing happened to you, that could happen to any fighter. You got civilized." Mike got civilized, with the worst of the worst.

What Tyson would have been with a better support system and his head on straight is one of the great sports what ifs.

The competition was so so, but prime Tyson's KO reel was legendary. Marvis Frazier is my personal favorite.

The average person today would recognize nobody nor their name from his list of KO's.

Let's not act like he was fighting Frazier, Ali and Foreman.

His biggest victory was against a light-heavyweight whose claim to fame was knocking out Gerry Cooney.

This was the Heavyweight Champ?

Tyson ran through a sport that was on it's last legs and totally vacant with talent.

I loved watching him fight. He got in his opponets heads much like Tiger got in the heads of the guys on tour when he first started to dominate.

He was a beast who was a animal when brawling. He got exposed when he faced a real boxer who wasn’t afraid of him.
