Read article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli for a quick refresher on Americas foundation.
And?

This motto was established in 1956, hardly a "foundation issue."
Maybe you're confusing a foundational issue with when politicians established a "motto"?

It was put on coins as early as 1864
True, it's was first applied to coins during the civil war.

Well, it only became the motto in 1956.
The Pledge of Allegiance was amended to include “under God” in 1954. The McCarthy years from 1947-1956 were scary for our nation. Mercifully, he died in 1957. Had he not, Christianity, or some denomination, might be the state religion of the U.S.

I see they have you leaning, the dark side wants to severe the relationship with HIM by what ever means necessary. He would have you believe this nation was not founded on Godly principles and the reason for the founding was to find a place to practice and worship HIM without persecution. It is becoming more and more prevalent that the ties Our nation has to HIM are increasingly being diminished.

This is scary that you are of a mind to believe in such drivel.
I have to go help some one with some minor repairs but I will be back.

The most important "founder" was a Deist.
The "deist" part is debatable, as is the claim of being "the most important" role..

Put your trust in any Government agency ... and let us know how that turns out.

If it didn't become a reality prior to Mr. McCarthy then it was unlikely to become a reality due to him.

Since Jesus himself said that all who worship him would suffer persecution, I expect it as a Christian.
Secondly, how is removing," In God we Trust" from anything going to impact my personal relationship with God?
Lastly, thanks for your concern and judgmental condemnation. I appreciate it.

What are you basing the bolded part on?
You do know that McCarthy was right about the communist connections, right??

Admittedly ive argued with you a lot and we don't agree on much.
But credit where credit is due that was well said.

And you'll see why the OP's understanding of America's foundation is flawed.

He was right about all of it. The New York Times went out of its way to protect communist infiltrators like Alger Hiss.

Yes it was on a 2 cent piece that circulated for 8 years...it wasn’t put onto paper money until the 50’s.
Guys, this is not the hill to die on.

Show me where "In God We Trust" is present on any founding document.
