Wife wants an in ground pool. Ain't gonna happen. I'll deal woth the trashiness of a decent above ground with a nice deck around it so I can tear all the shite down and not have a big arse hole in my yard once the newness wears off in a couple years. frick a pool!

If you live some place where this isn't just out of the question, then it is a very good way to go about pool ownership. Buy a big above ground when the kids are just swimming age and they'll be tired of it in a few years when it starts to fall apart. Save youself about 45 grand.
