I'd be very surprised if Barrett ever makes it in a big way as a pro... much less makes it big enough to be a credible successor to Brees. I mean look, obviously no one is perfect, especially not pro scouts, but it would be pretty unprecedented for the entire league, top to bottom, to be THIS wrong about a guy who turns out to be an elite QB.
EDIT: Off the top of my head, I guess you have to go back to Kurt Warner. So... not totally unprecedented but pretty rare.

Tony romo, and the back up for Dallas right now who looked damn good in the preseason last year were UDFA’s.

But to your point; Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, etc, didn't have near the college accolades that Barrett has. Having those types of numbers, playing in multiple CFP games, it would be absolutely shocking if ALL of the scouts and front offices got it wrong about this kid. Like everyone here, I'm hoping for the best in regards to what upside he may have, but for someone like that to go undrafted you almost have to think that upside is very, very, very limited.
