Does a 20mile night march count? Also, hiked the Wild Azalea Trail in Kisathie. It's about 27 miles, It can be done in one day, but you would be a tired little puppy. We did about 18 miles the first day, but stopped around 2pm mainly because we reached our staged vehicle with the tents and beer, so we set up camp and started drinking. Finished Sunday morning.

I read about an 80 year old man that has paddled the entire Mississippi River, hiked the AT, and plans to do the Missouri River and PCT. He's doing it to raise money for charity. Here's his website. Grey Beard

I hope I'm still this active at 80. I'd love to do the AT when I retire, hopefully I'm still healthy enough to do it.

Did 62 miles on the Azalea Trail (I think it was that one) last year for the red dirt ultra-maration (it was 2 laps plus on the trail plus a couple)
