Apologize if this has already been discussed but has there been any news or speculation on renewal rate for football season ticket donations for upcoming 2018 football season? Curious how the supply and demand equation might be changing.

Read on this site TAF tradition fund rate was down 16%. I believe ticket renewal is due at the end of may.

There’s still a huge waiting list I’m sure. I’d get some now if I could swing this year it in preparation for when lsu doesn’t suck.

If lsu only wins 6-7 and doesn’t fire O it’ll be time to move in.

Big talk is the 16% drop. Which is pretty huge adding taf donations and potential loss of concession sales.

That's why there are rumblings that Joe will get the boot.

Yeah and the waiting list shouldn't matter. I haven't checked if there is one, but so many go on the secondary market. It would basically be impossible for any one not to snag season tickets if they really wanted them.

is that why LSU stopped charging for the wait list back whenever and started selling season tix to the public the last two years?

Yep. They haven’t publicized it but they haven’t sold the season ticket allotment in 2 years. I’m hoping to get a parking pass in my name this year.

LINK

I don't want to interrupt the regularly scheduled O bashing or anything, but companies and donors are no longer allowed to deduct their donations to TAF. I'd bet it has impacted more than just the LSU program.

Back to the regularly scheduled O bashing.

I can assure you that a 16% drop is NOT all attributed to these donations no longer being tax deductible. My gut tells me that supply has finally begun to outstrip demand due to the price levels and a drop in value for the overall fan gameday experience.

Ya, I'm not saying it is the only thing, but I'm pretty sure that everyone is feeling some sort of pressure from that ruling.

Especially, the smaller schools with a smaller number of big time donations.

Has anyone gotten the actual invoice for tickets yet. On the renewal confirmation it said they would be sent mid April, but I haven't seen it yet.
