Looks like they probably over extended themselves with the Broussard location, which couldn't have opened at at a worse time.

Damn, no kidding. The one downtown had the best smothered pork chop/rice/cream peas/crunchless potato salad special on Fridays. Never went the new one out on 90.

Sad news

Funny, how no restaurant seems to ever shut down for ANY REASON but external forces.

Just bought a beer coozie on Saturday for Festival Int. Is it now a collectors item and worth more than the dollar I paid for it?

The Broussard one was good, but way over priced. Bad location for dinner.

Damn that really sucks. Everyone knew the Broussard location was a mistake from the beginning. I am surprised they shut down the downtown location as well though. I assume increased downtown competition (a lot of good restaurants have opened downtown in the last 5 years). Always had solid food and a good following. Never really heard anyone speak bad about Antlers.

This is really bad. I do a good chuck roast and gravy and I do a good chicken and gravy. I would kill for their pork chop recipe.
