The game releases on May 1. It will be download only on PS4 , Xbox and Steam. I think it is $29.99. I am excited as the players will look more realistic and you will be able to play online. This is a way more laid back easy play game. Yes, The Show is awesome, but I get bored with it, mainly because the games take forever to play.

If you haven't checked it out, first Super Mega was very enjoyable to me. It brought back memories of growing up playing the Nintendo baseball games.

The first one was $29.99. Great game.

I 100% planned on buying the second one. But I saw that on Xbox it’s actually on the Free Games with Gold pass for the month of May. First time over heard of a game being in the free games with gold on day of release. Freaking pumped.

Super Mega Baseball 2 ($29.99 ERP): Available May 1 to May 31 on Xbox One

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ($19.99 ERP): Available May 16 to June 15 on Xbox One

Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage ($9.99 ERP): Available May 1 to May 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360

Vanquish ($19.99 ERP): Available May 16 to May 31 on Xbox One and Xbox 360

I actually got the first one on sale for either $15.99 or $ 19.99. I was a little late to the party, but I would play it for hours.

Really fun game...reminded me a lot of the great NES game Dusty Diamond's All Star Softball.

That is the highest praise I've seen for a baseball game in a long time. That just sold it for me!

Nobody on here can touch my team on the first one. I got a dude hitting 102 on the gun.

I`ve only played a couple games, but I think the first game was more fun.

Anyone been playing online much? I’ve logged 12 games so far. All of them have been low scoring affairs.

I haven't had much time to play this week. Have yet to play anything online.

Pretty fun game. Kinda disappointing you can't use your custom team online.

Ive been playing pennant chase mode mostly, with the war pigs. Love having a speedy team.

Secret I have used is using a team with high contact.

Don’t ever use power just make contact and put the ball in play. Ive got plenty of home runs doing this.

Also most people (at least that I played on nights one and two) just tried keeping EVERYTHING low in the zone. So before the pitch set your aimer down there and just crank line drives into the gaps over and over.

high contact

Will have to try that as my hitting is just meh

I don't quite get the power swing. Is it just a timing thing? Hit the power button during the wind up? If i can ever figure it out i may give it a shot in hitters counts.. 3-0, 3-1 etc

With power you have pre charge (for lack of better wording) you hit.

In a hitters count it’s a good opportunity. But on normal pitches the quick reflex of just making contact is quicker and lower risk.

I say that but one guy that CRUSHED me was the Sirloins and I know they are a power team. He went hard like 5 times.

Just lost a game from throwing too much meat, the other team only had 5 hits but they were all home runs.

Loving this game, good change of pace and it leaves a lot of room to get better. I've messed up so many big innings from baserunning errors by sending everyone instead of just the lead runner. That and trying to get a double without checking the runner's speed first. Lots of wrinkles that make it enjoyable to get better at the game.

My 4 year old started tee ball this year and loves baseball. I was looking this morning at grabbing the first game on the cheap to play with him.

It`s a good game for a kid for sure. The first game allows you to beef your players up with add ons, such as juicing and other things to increase power and hitting and also pitching.
