Why are we suprised that he is pure garbage? Larry Legend said he belongs in the "D-Leauge" now "G-Leauge" when he cut him from the Pacers. He has minimal court awareness, he is not very athletic and he plays with zero confidence! Frick you Solomon Hill

Watch out, if you talk negative about anybody then you are a bandwagon fan, according to some experts in this site

I mean he is playing terribly but dude missed like 70 games this season. I think we all knew we needed him to come up big in this series guarding Durant and as of game 1 he hasn’t.

Some Pels fans love the dude for whatever reason. I got reamed for questioning putting him on Durant and saying it was the worst idea ever.

His defense is not good, maybe it was before but it has been trash since he's been back. His offense is not good. The other team always seems to go on runs when he's on the court killing our momentum. He is a net negative player and needs to see the court as he least possibly can, I'm sorry.

His defense last year was excellent. You know nothing about the Pels and the first Pels game you ever watched was game 3 of the Portland series. Stfu

when this team starts making some noise, people flood this board. which im all for. the problem is, people that follow this team regularly know how this team functions, knows how players/coaches have been progressing, and know how high and how low this team can go. and every time we hit a speed bump after the highs, these new posters come in with reactionary hot takes that typically bash the Pels.

I've got no problem with new posters coming in, but I do have a problem when new posters start claiming to be experts or shouting fire and brimstone when those that have been here all season know how mentally tough this team is, know how many point deficits we've come back from, know how we are the 2nd more clutch team in the league, know & have talked extensively about the shortcomings of this team.

on top of all of that, when you're a fan of a team you hope for the best even when the deck is stacked against you. so while I know how good the Warriors are, I still believe in the Pels. It's part of being a fan.

I've acknowledged this. The fact is, we're talking about now. When he gets on the court NOW, he doesn't box out, he lets dudes blow by him, he's slow closing out, his defense is not good NOW. And he's a liability offensively as well. Use your fricking eyes, he kills us every time he steps on the court.

youre right he is awful right now. but who else are you putting out there besides Solo to guard KD or anyone else that excludes the 5 starters, Clark, and Miller?

He looked unplayable. Might as well try Liggins. At least he would probably play with energy/hustle & run better. Funny how Hill got put in late in garbage time & no mins for Ligs.

I'd at least get Diallo out there. He needs the reps, Hill's window is closed. Least you have another big man out there that can free up space for AD which it looks like GS is committed to taking out the game. Diallo is your best bet. And even if it doesn't work out, it's better than betting on Hill at this point. Just my .02

Diallo brings some energy and sure he needs reps but Diallo is in no way disciplined enough to play significant minutes against the Warriors. I mean he was getting schooled by deep bench late in the game.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Liggins out there. Every though he gives you nothing on offense, he's aggressive and plays better defense at the moment.

But the hope is that Solo nuts up and regains some of his defensive prowess that he had last year. And Solo is 27, his window is very much open even though he's playing like absolute trash

Dell needs to move heaven earth to ship a first round pick, ajinca, and hill to some team trying to emulate the Process and get us a true starting caliber wing in return

this has been the topic for on this board for a while and really the problem with the Pelicans for years. No presence on the wing.

I think we can get Carroll from the Nets for some type of package of Solo, Ajinca, picks. May not even have to be a first. He's the type of solid shooter and defender that we really really need.

However the one everyone is holding out for is PG requesting a sign-and-trade to the Pelicans. Which isnt totally farfetched bc Boogie has apparently been in his ear, we are in the conference semis, and we look like a team that fits his type of basketball. It would send Niko to OKC which is a nice piece for them and fine for us bc after next season, we won't have the cap to resign Niko anyway.

I feel like your post applies to being a fan of LSU football

I'm not betting the house but I get to hope that they win every game. And I root for them even when they are underdogs.

Don't you think it would be something like Niko, Ajinca, Hill + a 1 for George?

Tie game early, great ball movement and someone kicks it to Hill for a corner 3. Brick and the run starts the other way.
