This is solid advice. I set high expectations for our 1st Valentine's day and it took me 4 years to lower them. Won't make that mistake again

Screw that. There will never be a first Mother’s Day again. And, to the poster suggesting that they clearly are not married or cannot communicate with the mother of their children. Explain it to the mother before next year’s Mother’s Day or even immediately after this one. Tell her things won’t always be this nice for Mother’s Day, but youbwanted the first on to be special.
