I think one of the first questions would be is, "What are the pros and cons that you deal with as a teacher?"
Hell, I haven't said anything negative about my job outside of what many of you have interpreted. Do I think teachers are underpaid? In certain parishes, yes.... do I hate my job, no I love my job.
In fact, I've been an advocate of making it harder to become a teacher for a while now on here and through other avenues.

Do you think this is mutually exclusive to teaching? I've had three people leave my 15 or so person group in the last 6 months, but we are producing at the same rate. I don't bitch about it like a whiny school girl, I see it as opportunity to make an impression and move up faster.

Again I wasn't trying to be a dick, and I know you didn't intend to come off as whining.
If you want some more cash, look around. If you enjoy what you do, it shouldn't be about the money.
Don't let anyone think less of you because of tangible things in life.
I'm sure you're a great guy and you have people that love you for you.
Most of us see these threads and see it as bitching. Can't fault us for that.
