The Washington Examiner’s Byron York first reported earlier this year that fired FBI boss James Comey had briefed lawmakers amid allegations Flynn had lied to Vice President Pence about conversations with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and speculation he may have misled FBI agents who questioned him in January 2017. Comey reportedly told lawmakers at the time that agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe he lied in that Jan. 24 meeting, and that any inaccuracies in his account were unintentional.
The Republican-authored report states the committee found no evidence of collusion between the Russia government and the Trump campaign; Peter Doocy reports from Capitol Hill.Video
Fast-forward to December, after the probe takeover by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and Flynn would plead guilty to one count of making false statements to the FBI during that meeting.

Yep.. they were threatening his son. He did what any guy with a family would do, in that situation. Plead guilty to the lying under oath bs.. and keep the gov from bankrupting his family, like they tried to do to him.

Ever dealt with the FBI or the Federal government in a court case either civil or criminal? Your adversary has virtually unlimited resources and can take as long as it wants....most of us don't have that luxury..even well off guys like Flynn. They will take a minor plea just to get the bleeding to stop. I watched it happen in my first job out of law school.

I have.
His plea deal has cooperation as part of it. The rationale listed here doesn't match the facts. He plead guilty to a crime he didn't commit to protect his son, and his assets. All the while his former boss offered to pardon him if he didn't cooperate. It just doesn't add up.

Not when Brennan and Peter Stroker (who questioned Flynn with no lawyer present) are involved. The future trial of Flynn will show he was set up and the DOJ OIG will back him.
In the moment the Trump admin didn't think Brennan and Peter Stroker Page would dare do such a thing as set a perjury trap. Back then Brennan and the dirty spooks controlled the message. They called a meeting with Veep and said, he lied to you. Who wouldn't trust the spooks? No one knew what they know now. Of course it does. Do you know what kind of lawyers you have to have if a special counsel comes calling? You're looking at $50K just as a retainer. So yeah if someone says "hey plead to this or your son is next" you may well be intimidated into pleading guilty, ESPECIALLY to a nonsense charge that carries a minor penalty.
A presidential pardon doesn't get Flynn's son's money back.
