My thoughts are that I don't think O can get it done although I'm not saying it can't happen. I realize that there are reasons for optimism.

However, I don't think that should change what the expectations should be. This team has the talent. There shouldn't be a 2 year learning curve. IMO, this coaching staff should be able to get it done this year and I don't understand when people try to give them a pass.

Perfectly fair, as it should be.

I don't think a dimension exists where O and Ensminger can beat Saban straight up, he has LSU's number, and can poach LA recruits. I don't know if that counts as "getting it done," but I see no path without a risky or young hire who's going to do something wildly different here. Like Dabo or someone similar.
