MBDTF really is one of the greatest albums of all time. Honestly, that is his pinnacle. Runaway is still my favorite Kanye song. Nothing since MBDTF has really had more than two or three good songs.
Kanye has done things I like, things I don't like, things I love, and things I hate. He's a human being, with incredible talent and an incredible ego.
Regardless, I absolutely love his tweets today and yesterday.
Might be the best thing he's said in years.

I loathe Kanye. I loathe almost every song of his I have ever heard. He is obnoxious, pretentious and just annoying. All of that being said you were spot on when you typed what I quoted because that album is easily one of the best ever when you listen from start to finish. When you listen to each song on its own they don’t blow you away but turned up loud on a high end stereo or great set of headphones the entire album as a whole is an absolute masterpiece.

I liked Kanye prior to it being cool.
College Dropout album so good I wore it out the cd. He didn’t handle fame well but I guess looking back now maybe it’s because he refused to be “packaged” and “resold”. It will be interesting to see what happens but my fear is that KW just signed his professional death warrant. Career will be over and Harvey Weinstein will get more opportunities to rock the mic than will Kanye.
