Of LSU’s first 75 snaps Saturday, more than 40 were from the shotgun

That’s something Orgeron preached after last season — that the Tigers’ new offense under Steve Ensminger would lean on the gun and spread out the field with its receivers. More than three-fourths of the snaps Saturday were out of the shotgun or a 1-back set, and the Tigers used at least three receivers on about half of their first 75 plays.
It’s clear that LSU is trying to spread the field as often as possible.
Four things we learned from LSU's spring game

And less than half the pass attempts were completed. Tough to move the ball like that.

After only 14 practices but people will continue to bitch and moan . How about don’t watch the team if you feel it’s destined for failure .

Didn’t realize this. Will now upgrade my 2018 record prediction from 11-1 to 12-0. We are lucky to have a proven winner as HC and the passing game looks FANTASTIC.
ETA: will you add me to the payroll if I start posting positive replies on all of your meaningless bullshite threads?

This seems like a 2002 headline

It’s destined for failure because we have a career DL coach and an OC who hasn’t held the role in decades and publicly stated that he didn’t want the job trying to implement a new offensive system.
But Alleva and dumb fans like you prefer to delude yourselves.

Idgaf about formations. I want to move the damn ball. Forward. Consistently.

If you want to be miserable over your made up fallacy, go for it.
"Destined for failure" Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !!!!

It's going to be fun watching you bitch and squirm when O gets this thing going. We will just be able to feel your anger in every. single. post.

I bet. Ole Miss’s worst coach in their history is surely destined for great things.

But, you have no idea if he is or not. You are a pessimist with a bad case of catastrophe syndrome.

Who do you realistically think was coming here? Jimbo asked for a ludicrous contract that only Aggy was desperate or stupid enough to pay. Herman used LSU to leverage Texas. I read all the wailing and gnashing of teeth about the coach but no one ever offers up who should be here. We weren’t pulling an established D1 coach. Did you want to be Tennessee or Texas (Charlie Strong search) and be turned down by every candidate publicly?

You have a win-loss prediction for the season?

There's no fewer than 20 coaches in between "established D1 coach" and Orgeron.

Name? Who do you think realistically was coming here?

It really resembled mcvays offense. The Rams offensive staff should’ve been taking notes from slinger

They are. I heard they are having the whole offensive staff in a meeting today to watch the LSU spring game to learn from it.

It was a thing of beauty. I’m glad mcvay can learn a thing or two from slinger.
