He played Nose tackle with the second team and rotated with Cotton #54.

He’s a monster. Dude is gigantic. He has extremely good burst off the snap and beat multiple double teams. He could still stand to lose some weight for sure.

I don’t see him playing too much on passing downs against scrambling QBs, but other than that, he will definately find his way into the rotation. I have a feeling that when Ed Alexander is back they’ll slide Logan, who also looked good, back to End and Shelvin will be spelling Alexander.

Our depth is finally there with legit talent in the trenches, and it’s a beautiful sight

Great to hear. I think DL depth has been missing the past few years, especially the big space eaters in the middle.

Isn't Cotton a hair small for Nose? Thought he was projected as DE?

I might happily eat crow on this one. I thought he was heading for bustville. If he and Alexander are both productive it will make our line very good. That gives us a lot of depth everywhere.

If he takes a double team, our other guys will be all sec. You cannot double team 2 guys at once without extreme offensive sacrifices in personnel or play calling.

My son met him at the game. He said his nickname on the team is Big Dragon. That's a lot to live up to
