That play looked wayyy worse live.

I saw it live and only saw the replay angle from tthe big screen at the arena, not the broadcast. Both looked bad and Jrue told him to buzz off when CJ tried to explain himself. I will try to find the the replay to see if it looked better. I just think anytime you pull someone from behind on the shoulders like that as they are going up you run the risk of dropping them on their head/back even if you try to catch them.

I don’t think C.J. is a dirty player or bad person, but I think the way he went about his hard foul was unecessarily dangerous and thats why I label it dirty. He was pissed about being dominated and lost his cool. It happens, but just hack someone. The undercuts and horse collars are dangerous plays.

Imagine if that was Zaza instead of C.J. who had done that, no one would be saying anything other than it was a dirty play.

the foul looked fine to me.
CJ did what he could to break Moore’s fall while still sending a message.

POR had been getting punked for three games and while we all love a-hole jrue, if that was lillard pointing and laughing we’d want some payback. I’d have a lot more respect though for POR if they’d been able to shut jrue up but alas, jrue went in dry and they just grunted and took it
