Being scored tightly in this first session makes it much harder to win a title. Last year LSU was on fire and in the night session and we walked away with 3 individual National titles. This year we could hit and not a single girl wins a National title because the 9.9s that win this session will turn into 9.925-9.95 in the night session.
The one aspect I really like is LSU is not completely lights out so far compared to last year. LSU will have something to build on and improve. This has been a team of building and improving each week this season. I think that works in LSU's favor a lot.

9.775 was too high. So scoring seems to already be relaxing on beam for Bama.

Guerrero made a huge mistake on her side aerial but somehow covered it up by turning around. Anyone else would have fallen. Too bad because she could have won the title on this event.
