I have a 2 truck guns, Taurus Mill G2 and one of the Slim models with many rounds through each, no failures whatsoever. May be lucky, not sure.

You did.
I've only had great experiences with Taurus guns. Just haven't had any in a long while, which is why I asked the question. You know how it is, quality control isn't always a given.
