I have been on the downward spiral for over a year now, and I have been managing the previous 6-7 years with no meds.

Actually going to the shrink today to get this shite fixed before my kids hate me and my wife leaves me.

Good luck. Mental health is a long, often lonely road for those of us who struggle.

Is this the first time you've been to see someone about it?

Good luck man, it's a wonderful thing when you start to feel yourself again.

Hoping I'll be back there soon myself.

You are not alone my friend. The fact that you are doing something about it tells me all I need to know about you. You will get back to where you want to be, and your kids and wife will understand. If you haven't already, have an honest convo with your wife about what you struggle with and how it affects you daily.

ShoeBang, I dealt with it for probably 8 years but the last 6 months or so just got really hard to deal with....which is why I decided to talk to the Dr and open up about my problems. It was at that moment I realized just how many people deal with it.

It's great to start enjoying life again.
