I have what I'm pretty sure is annual bluegrass all over my backyard. I know it's to late now to get rid of it, but what do I need to do to prepare to get rid of it next year?

Poa annua? Pre-emergent put out in the fall. That’s pretty much it.

Thanks guys. We back up to Kleinpeter farm, so my whole yard is basically weeds and this one is acting as the grass right now.

Scott's Halt should do the trick in the fall.

Will either of those affect Bermuda?

No
ETA: When used as a pre-emergent. Don't use Simazine on Bermuda in the summer.

DONT put glycophate on your Bermuda when dormant. I did this past winter. Lille all the pop but I got a lot of brown spots in backyard as a result. Won’t do that again

Good to know. I’m slowly transitioning to all Bermuda. I had a nice mix of weeds, st aug and Bermuda.
The weed free zone helped a bunch, now I’m spot treating some crab grass.
I guess MSM is next?

The only thing that will kill it now is Revolver...but it's VERY expensive. I originally thought it was a per-emergent, but I was educated here...and I did more research on it..and they were right...it's post emergent.
