That’s what we are hoping. Seems to be the time of year for the big sows to be out and about down there.
As far as bait goes, I probably won’t be using live bait. I’m assuming topwater plugs, mirrodines, and plastics on a jig head will do fine.

Which peninsula by the golf course do you wade for specs? The eastern peninsula and fish toward the gulf or the western peninsula and fish toward the course?
